今年度は、ホルモン療法を受けている若年乳がん患者の更年期症状と日常生活行動の支障に関する質問紙調査を行った。50歳未満の閉経前患者250名に質問紙を配布し、178名より回答（回収率71.2%）が得られ、有効回答数は110名（有効回答率44.0%）であった。対象者の平均年齢は43.4±4.0歳で、抗エストロゲン薬単剤で治療中が60名（54.5%）、LH-RHアゴニスト製剤との併用が49名（44.5%）であった。心身の更年期症状の程度を捉えるSMIの総得点の平均は39.0（SD22.0）であり、要治療とされる51点以上は37名で34.0%だった。「腰や手足が冷えやすい」「息切れ、動悸」「頭痛、眩暈、吐き気がよくある」以外の症状は、6割以上の者が保有していた。中でも「怒りやすく、すぐイライラする」「疲れやすい」「肩こり、腰痛、手足の痛みがよくある」は、7割以上が保有しており、特に「疲れやすい」「肩こり、腰痛、手足の痛みがよくある」は症状の程度が強く、中程度以上が5割を超えていた。認知機能評価のために用いたFACT-cogの総得点の平均は121.4（SD21.1）であり、下位領域：自覚的認知障害69.0（SD11.9）、他覚的認知障害17.7（SD1.4）、自覚的認知能力22.8（SD8.8）、生活の質への影響13.9（SD3.8）であった。日常生活行動の支障感を評価するWHODASの総得点の平均は56.1（SD16.8）で、最小値34～最大値125点だった。「新しい友人を作る」「性的行為をする」を含む＜他者との交流＞や、「自分の健康状態による家族への影響や感情的影響、時間的影響に対処すること」等を含む＜社会への参加＞、その他、家事労働を効率的に行うことに支障を感じている者が多かった。
