项目摘要

本研究は，1～2歳児を対象に，運動行為として行われていた描画から，何かを意味するシンボルとして絵が発生するプロセスを明らかにすることを目的としている。幼児の個（認知，身体など）の発達とともに，幼児をとりまく環境や他者からの影響も捉えるため，家庭での調査と保育施設での調査が計画されていた。本年度の成果として，筆圧観察装置を用いた家庭での調査と分析，保育施設での調査の分析が挙げられる。家庭での調査と分析については，4歳児（2020年度からの継続調査）と1歳児（2021年度からの継続調査）を対象に，自然な描画場面の観察，筆圧観察装置を用いた描画場面の観察，新版K式発達検査を行った。特に，1歳児については描画時の姿勢と描画材の置き方に着目し，1歳5ヶ月～1歳11ヶ月までの各月齢で筆圧，描出物，発話の関連を検討し，学会にて報告を行った（日本発達心理学会第34回大会4PM2-P-PS42「1歳代の描画における姿勢と描出の変化―筆圧に着目した縦断的観察研究」）。描出物の形態においては大きな変化は見られないものの，月齢によって姿勢と描画材の置き方による筆圧の変化があること，これらの変化は自身の姿勢を保持する手の出現の影響を受けており，姿勢と手指の使用が連動して描出が変化することが示唆された。保育施設での調査については，シンボルとしての絵の発生として，絵を描く前に命名を行う事前命名の出現に着目し分析を行った。事前命名を促す働きかけとなっていた友人，保育者とのコミュニケーションについてエピソード分析を行ったところ，描画時の命名の出現とともに描画における行為の意図が変化している可能性が考えられた。これらの変化には，保育者に支えられながら自分で活動の終わりを考え決めるといった自分の行為を実感することや，他者（友達，保育者）と描くことによるシンボル産出が影響を与えていることが示唆された。
