2021年度は要介護者歯科診療時の術者の体幹角度の計測を行うことを目標に，訪問歯科診療と訪問口腔ケア実施時の歯科医師の姿勢を2方向からビデオカメラで撮影し，その画像からフォーム分析ソフトを利用して動作解析を行った．しかしながら，一般的な歯科診療室とは異なり，要介護者の生活する施設のような場では，診療場所の制限があることから，動画解析に必要な広範囲の撮影が困難であり，解析精度が低下することが明らかとなった．そこで，2022年度は研究室において診療姿勢を想定した課題動作を行い，外骨格を使用し，筋活動への効果を検討した．課題動作は，体幹前屈に左回旋を加えた回旋条件，左回旋と左側屈を加えた回旋・側屈条件で7秒間姿勢を保持した．また，外骨格には主に弾性素材からなり，比較的軽量かつ安価な外骨格である2種類のエクソスーツを使用した．1つ目は主に背部の伸縮ゴムの張力によって体幹前屈位での腰部の負担の軽減を目的としているもの，2つ目はマジックテープの素材からなる上下の服および様々な長さのゴム製のベルトで構成されており，ベルトが自由な位置に張り付けることが可能であるものを前屈・回旋・側屈の支持を目的とした位置にベルトを張り付けて使用した．その結果，一般的な背部のゴムの張力で体幹前屈位の負担軽減を目的としたエクソスーツと比較し，ベルトを自由な位置に張り付け，回旋や側屈にも対応したエクソスーツのほうが，胸部および腰部脊柱起立筋や大腿二頭筋の筋活動が低下した．
