项目摘要

2022年度は、COVID-19感染状況が落ち着いた時期に、面接調査や質問紙調査を検討・実施予定であったが、COVID-19感染拡大の影響が続いたため、多重介護に関する文献レビュー、ならびに高齢者の多重介護を行っている家族介護者への調査に向けての準備を行った。多重介護に関する文献レビューでは、前年度に引き続き、多重介護に関する国内外の文献について、育児と介護を行っている「ダブルケア」に関する文献も含めてレビューを実施し、国際学会での発表を行った。レビューの結果は、多重介護を担っている家族介護者に関する文献はダブルケアに関する知見がほとんどであり、障がい者(児)と高齢者の介護、複数の高齢者の介護に関する文献は少数であった。量的研究では、複数の家族員へのケアを担っている人々はケアを担っていない人や単一のケアの場合よりも健康状態が悪く、抑うつ傾向や心理的ディストレスが高いことなどが報告されていた。質的研究では、育児と高齢の親族の介護の体験について、介護者らが複数の家族員へのケアを担っていることの葛藤や困難に悩みながらも、調和できるよう対処していくプロセスや、多重ケアだからこそ得られる子どもや家族の成長などが示されていた。多くの研究が多重介護を担うことが心身の影響にネガティブな影響があることが示していたが、ポジティブな影響の知見は少数であり、今後、多重介護による肯定的な側面や、多重介護の組み合わせのバリエーションごとの違いや対処方法、支援について、文化の考慮も含めてさらなる研究の必要性が示唆された。
