项目摘要

近年，学校不適応は増加傾向にあり，2021年の小・中学校の不登校児童生徒数は24万人に達し，過去最多を記録した。学校不適応の増加の背景として，社会情動的スキルへの関心が高まっている。社会情動的スキルは非認知的スキルとしても知られ，感情をコントロールする力，他者と協働する力，目標を達成する力などがある。就学前に多くの時間を過ごす幼稚園・保育所は社会情動的スキルを育む重要な環境であり，幼児教育・保育においてもそのスキルを高めることが注目されている。2018年度に施行された幼稚園教育要項，保育所保育指針，幼保連携型認定こども園教育・保育要領では，「幼児期の終わりまでに育ってほしい姿」として10の姿が，幼稚園，保育所，認定こども園共通の指針として示されている。そこには，「健康な心と体」「数量・図形，文字等への関心・感覚」などの認知的な能力だけでなく，「自立心」「協同性」などの社会情動的な能力が明示されている。これまでの調査により，就学前の社会情動的スキルの発達が就学後の学校適応に影響し，特に社会経済状況の低い家庭の児は学校不適応のリスクが高いことなどが明らかになっている。本年度は，就学前児の社会情動的スキルの発達を促すための育児支援プログラムを開発するため，愛知県内において縦断的に行っている社会情動的スキルの発達・育児環境に関する調査を，中学1年生を対象に実施した。分析の結果，主に，家族と共有する経験，生活習慣，親のワークライフバランスなどが社会情動的スキルや問題行動とどのように関連しているのかについて明らかにし，論文投稿や学会発表を通じて，研究成果の報告を行った。さらに，国外の社会情動的スキルの発達を促す既存のプログラムのメリット・デメリットなどの特徴を検証し，国内向けのプログラム開発のための資料を整理した。
