项目摘要

2022年度は、次の通りに研究活動を進めてきた。第一に、学術論文の執筆である。前年度から執筆を継続してきた「国連保護軍（UNPROFOR）と日本―非自民連立政権下における検討過程」『三重大学全学共通教育センター研究紀要』（第8号、2023年3月）1-14頁を公表した。この論文によって、クロアチアUNPROFOR機械歩兵大隊、マケドニアの予防展開をめぐり、細川護熙率いる非自民連立政権下でどのような検討作業が重ねられたのかを実証的に浮き彫りにした。第二に、継続的な史料調査の実施である。これまでにも本務先の三重大学附属図書館に所蔵されていない書籍、学術論文、回顧録などの収集に力を入れてきたが、2022年度はより広範にそれらを買い揃えるに至った。また、情報公開請求開示文書、外務省外交史料館所蔵文書などの一次史料をさらに取得するよう努めた。すでに入手済みの未公刊文書については、その精査をほぼ終えている。それらの再確認はもちろんだが、特定歴史公文書等利用請求による新史料の取得に向けた準備も進めている。上記に関連し、第三に、ゴラン高原の国連兵力引き離し監視隊（UNDOF）参加に関する研究も同時に進めてきた。すでに記したように、入手済み一次史料の精査をほぼ済ませたため、執筆作業の半分近くを終えている。現在は、オペレーションの部分に研究の軸足が移りつつあり、今後、様々な史資料を通じてこの部分の分析を一層深めていく予定である。
