本研究は、これまでの研究経過で構築してきた国内外のネットワークを基盤として、若者支援者の専門性を育成すると同時に若者支援の専門性に依拠した実践評価を促進する手法を、研究者と実践者の協働で開発することを目的としている。より具体的には、ここまでの共同研究プロセスを経て仮説的に構築した＜Storytelling（実践の語り）からDocumentation（実践記録）へ＞手法モデルを、日本とヨーロッパ（イギリス、フィ ンランド、デンマーク等）において試行、検証、精緻化を図ることを通じて、若者支援者の専門性の育成と、その専門性に見合った実践評価の促進に寄与し、加えて、若者支援を含めた「枠づけ」の弱い教育・支援領域（インフォーマル教育）の高度化にも寄与する学問的知見の導出をめざしている。新型コロナウイルス感染拡大による移動制限により、とりわけ海外渡航困難な状況が続いたこともあり、また研究の第一段階として本来的あり方でもあるが、まずは日本国内での試行、検証に注力して研究を進めた。具体的には、2022年3月に上記手法モデルの問題提起を含む本研究組織の取組紹介ウェブサイトの構築・公開（Youth Workを学ぶ場https://www.learning-youthwork.com/）を行い、あわせて上記手法モデルにより作成されたストーリーを紹介し考察する書籍の刊行に向けて取り組んだ。（平塚眞樹編、若者支援とユースワーク研究会著『ユースワークとしての若者支援』、大月書店刊として2023年2月刊行）並行して、オンライン、メールを主としつつ、イギリス、フィンランドにおける研究協力者と、上記の手法含めて、ユースワークの価値・規範に関する実践者間並びに社会との共通認識形成について意見交換を重ね、共同研究の基盤づくりを進めた。、
