本研究の目的は，より深刻ないじめが発生する小学校高学年から中学生期の児童生徒を対象としたいじめ防止プログラムを開発し，その有効性を検証することである。中学生版の開発（2020年７月）に引き続き，小学校高学年版の開発（2022年２月）を終え，2022年度はその有効性を明らかにするための評価研究に着手した。2022年４月から６月にかけて，広島県福山市と府中市及び京都府綾部市の介入校（プログラム実施校）と比較校（プログラム非実施校）の小学校5年生と中学校1年生を対象とした質問紙調査を実施した。調査内容は，いじめにかかわる行動や態度，いじめ行動にかかわる心理・社会的要因であった。また，介入校の教員を対象として，レジリエンシーの形成を目指すいじめ防止プログラム「ユニット１」の理論的背景及び具体的進め方に関する参加型の研修会（ワークショップ）を開催した。次いで，2022年５月から７月にかけて，介入校の小学校５年生及び中学校１年生を対象として，「ユニット１」を実施した。2022年７月に，介入校の教員を対象として，いじめの目撃者が被害者を助ける行動を取ることを促進することを目指すいじめ防止プログラム「ユニット２」の理論的背景及び具体的進め方に関するワークショップを開催した。次いで，2022年９月から2023年１月にかけて，介入校の小学校５年生及び中学校１年生を対象として，「ユニット２」を実施した。2023年２月から３月にかけて，事前調査と同一の児童生徒を対象として，同一の内容と方法で第１回目の事後調査を実施した。以上の評価研究と並行して，プログラム実施校を増やすために，兵庫県伊丹市，京都府綾部市，愛知県名古屋市，神奈川県横浜市，東京都北区，鹿児島県鹿児島市などで教員対象のワークショップを開催した。
