本研究は，未来社会を創っていくための資質・能力を育むという積極的な意思のもと，社会的実践を志向する学習領域「数理科学」の学校教育への実装化を課題に据え，児童生徒が一連の「社会的実践プロセス」において，数理科学の手法や方法を用いる様相を明らかにするとともに，教師のタスクデザイン力に着眼した教師教育について実証的に考究することを目的とするものである。3年次である2022年度は，2021年度と同様に，研究分担者に，大学等の研究者，指導主事や小・中・高等学校の教諭を加えた，総勢43名からなる研究組織で，理念班，カリキュラム班，タスク・授業デザイン班，教師教育班に分かれて研究を進めた。主な成果は，以下の四点である。第一に，プラグマティズムがどのように数理科学教育を理論的に支えられるかを示すため，デューイの民主主義やガットマンの熟議民主主義，数理科学教育における対話の妥当性を支える理論としてハーバーマスの討議の理論等に着眼し検討した。第二に，「数理科学」の見方・考え方のカリキュラム上の位置付けについて，Concept Based Curriculum（Erickson他2017)の考えをもとにしたトップダウンアプローチと，実践事例の分析をもとにしたボトムアップアプローチの両面から検討を進めた。第三に，小学校，中学校，高等学校の校種別のWGに分かれ，社会的実践プロセスを内在する教材の候補となる題材・素材を収集し，教材の構想を練った。第四に，社会的実践を志向する教材を開発し授業化する上での鍵となる見方・考え方を事例的に同定するために，題材・素材から教材を構想するプロセスに関するデータを収集した（映像記録を含む）。
