本研究課題「政令市教育委員会による教員採用選考の独自実施に関する実証的研究」は、四つの分析課題（1）政令市による教員採用選考の独自実施の形成過程、（2）政令市による教員採用選考の独自実施の影響、（3）政令市以外の自治体による教員採用選考の独自実施の形成過程、（4）政令市による教員採用選考の独自実施に関する法制度の形成過程、に分けることができる。上記のうち分析課題（3）・（4）は令和2年度、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響により出張を伴う資料調査が難しかったため、現地での資料収集を行わずに実施可能な分析課題として変更・再設定したものである。令和2年度に取り組んだ資料収集・論文執筆の結果、令和3年度は、分析課題（4）の研究成果として学会誌に査読付論文を掲載することができた。またこの過程で、日本と諸外国の教員採用制度研究の動向についての検討を行い、その成果を研究動向論文（学会誌より依頼）として執筆した。分析課題（3）において執筆した論文も2022年3月末に学会誌に投稿し、現在審査中である。令和2年度後半から令和3年度にかけては、移動制限の緩和から出張を伴う資料調査が可能となり、令和2年度前半に取り組めなかった分析課題（2）に取り組むことができた。分析課題（2）では後発政令市（福岡市・北九州市）を対象とした資料調査を行い、現在収集した資料の分析を進めている。今後研究成果をまとめ、学会において成果発表を行う予定である。
