项目摘要

本研究では、生活保護受給者の精神保健を支援するために、まず精神保健状態を把握し（１年目）、一般母集団との差の要因を明らかにした上で（２年目）、援助方針提案のための一助とする精神疾患の予測モデルを作成すること（３年目）を目的とした。今年度（第２年目）は、「日本老年学的評価研究（通称：JAGES）」を用いて第１年目から継続している研究である「生活保護受給者は非受給者と比較して抗うつ症状が高いことを示した研究」、「生活保護受給の開始や終了によって受給者の社会関係の変化を示した研究」、「生活保護受給と社会心理的要因を示した研究」を国際誌および国内学会にて発表した。さらに「生活保護受給者には非受給者と比較して自殺願望・自殺企図・自傷行為が多いことを示した研究」、「社会的孤立・孤独の要因をまとめた研究」、「小児期逆境体験がある者は高齢期に生活保護を受給している割合が高いことを示した研究」を遂行し、国内学会で発表をし、論文にまとめている。特別研究員の任期中に予定していたオランダのエラスムス大学への留学については、新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックの終息の兆しが見られないことから、受入研究者と相談した上で渡航を延期していたが、本研究の遂行に影響を与えていない。国立大学の常勤職への就職に伴い、第3年目は辞退する運びとなったが、本研究の当初の目的を達成すべく、援助方針提案のための一助とする精神疾患の予測モデルを作成するために研究は継続する予定である。
