项目摘要

本年度の目標としては、①過年度成果の活字による公表、②慶長の役戦後交渉への見通し、③対外交渉のみならず、戦争の経過を含む戦争全体の分析を掲げていた。本年も、それぞれに関連する研究を進め、口頭での研究報告・活字論文の成稿を目指した。①については、『東京大学日本史学研究室紀要』第27号に宮内庁書陵部図書寮文庫蔵「文英清韓長老記録」の解題・翻刻・訓読等を掲載した。同史料は慶長の役直前における豊臣政権の対朝鮮政策や加藤清正の動向を知る上での根本史料であり、今後さらなる分析を行う土台が提供できた。②については、過年度に紀州徳川家に伝来した外交文書の分析を通じて、加藤清正を除く諸大名のうち、寺沢正成の動向に注目する必要を感じたため、寺沢正成に関する史料を収集し、その動向の分析を行った。その中で、歴史学研究会中世史部会10月例会において、「豊臣政権の対明交渉における寺沢正成」という報告を行った。長崎奉行の寺沢正成は豊臣政権から諸外国への取次として位置づけられたという議論がある。特に、明・朝鮮との関係に絞って検討を加えた。寺沢はもっぱら明使の応対を役割としており、朝鮮との交渉を行うわけでは無いが、大名らの対外交渉を監督する九州諸大名の取次として豊臣政権に対する政治的力量を発揮して交渉に関与したと見通した。③に関連して、加藤清正を始めとする諸大名発給文書の収集を行った。その中で、熊本博物館、熊本県立美術館、京都大学総合博物館などで史料調査を行い、従来の研究では看過されてきた文禄の役・慶長の役期間の加藤清正が発給した新出史料を何点か発見した。新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で過年度までの史料調査に遅れが生じたため、年度中の研究成果の公表は、①の史料紹介を除き、口頭での報告に留まった。今後速やかに成稿を行い、活字論文による成果の公表を行う。
