项目摘要

研究計画時では、対面での実験調査を想定していたが、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響により、実施方法をオンラインに変更して実験調査を実施した。以下、研究実績の概要について報告する。孤独感が社会的脅威への過覚醒に与える影響の年齢差を検証するため、オンライン実験を実施した。孤独感が高い中高年者は，若い世代と比べ、より社会的脅威に敏感になるのかを検証するため、社会的孤立を示す写真刺激を提示した条件ではターゲット刺激への反応が遅くなるかを比較した。実験参加条件を満たし同意の得られた77名の実験データを解析した。その結果、孤独感低群では風景画を提示した条件よりも孤立場面を提示した条件の方が反応時間が遅くなった。一方、孤独感高群では、写真の種類によって反応時間の遅延は確認されなかった。本研究の結果、孤独感の高低により社会的場面の刺激への反応が異なることが示唆された。しかし、孤独感高群では、想定していた孤立場面への過覚醒は確認できなかった。また、年代により孤独感が社会的脅威への反応に及ぼす影響が異なるという仮説は支持されず、本研究の結果では、無意図的な認知処理に年齢の影響は確認できなかった。本研究の仮説が支持されなかった要因として、WEB実験のため想定よりも効果量が低かった可能性があることと、写真の種類をランダムに提示したMixedデザインであったため、刺激の種類の影響が分散した可能性が考えられた。本研究の成果は、学会で発表を行い専門家との議論を踏まえたうえで、今後、追加実験により孤独感と年齢の影響を再確認する必要性がある。
