项目摘要

2022年度は、まず、Johnston型とPettit型の「反応依存性」概念について、それらがそれぞれどのような意味における「実在論」を実現しうるのか、という点の考察を進め、次のような結論を得た：Pettit型は、反応依存的概念の指示対象（である性質）についての「本質主義essentialism」と呼びうるような強い意味での実在論を実現する可能性をもつ。それに対し、Johnston型は、可能だとしてもきわめて弱い実在論 ―― 例えば、（メタ倫理学における非認知主義に対して）《反応依存的概念を用いた文は真／偽たり得る》ということを認める程度の実在論 ―― を実現するにとどまる。すると問題は、Johnston型に実質的に一致することになる反応依存性概念に依拠するTobias Rosefeldtのカント「超越論的観念論」解釈が、Rosefeldtが望むような意味で実在論的含意を持ち得るか、ということになる。2022年度の考察の限りでは、この問いには否定的に答えられざるを得ない、との結論が一応導かれた。―― すると、本研究が目指す「カント的実在論」のためには、Pettit型の「反応依存性」概念を用いるLucy Allaisの解釈の方がふさわしい、ということになる。この研究に続き、Allaisによる「超越論的観念論」解釈に基づく「カント的実在論」が、特に知覚的認識についての懐疑論に対してどの程度の効力を持つかの考察に移行した。そのための準備として、Donald Davidsonによる、彼独自の意味理論に基づく反-懐疑論的議論の検討に着手した。この考察は2023年度に引き継がれることになる。

In 2022, the concept of "anti-dependence" of Johnston-type and Pettit-type "anti-dependence" was realized, and the conclusion was drawn: The concept of Pettit type anti-dependence indicates the object (property) of essentialism and the possibility of its realization. The problem of Johnston-type qualitative consistency is solved by Tobias Rosefeldt's concept of transcendental theory.
