项目摘要

新型コロナウイルス感染症の蔓延による影響で、2022年度も昨年度と同様に、予定していたフランスに渡航して外務省外交資料館ならびにフランス国立図書館での調査、研究が行えなかったことから、主として国内の資料調整に重点を置き、研究を進めてきた。2022年度はとくに京都のフランス関連の資料の調査を重視して行った。他方、具体的な成果報告としては、2022度はまず、2021年度に共同開催として実施したシンポジウム「クローデルとその時代」の成果報告書を準備した。残念ながら、年度内の刊行には間に合わなかったが、2023年内に刊行の目途が立っており、シンポジウムの成果を幅広く公開する予定でいる。またそこに論考を掲載するほか、さらにクローデルの日本におけるカトリック布教をめぐる論考を準備し、2023年３月に発表した。これは上記シンポジウムにおいてとくにこれまで未開拓であった宗教と政治・外交との関わりに関する示唆があったことによるもので、本研究事業の成果であると考えている。合わせて、本研究の成果を反映させたクローデル関係の研究所の翻訳（共訳）2023年度中に刊行する予定である。新型コロナウイルス感染症、ウクライナでの戦争など今後の状況にもよるが、現在までに明らかになっている課題を、当初のテーマと柔軟に結びつけながら、今後に予定しているフランスでの資料の調査を含めた研究の充実を検討し、準備している。さらに、本研究の最終成果公開のためにシンポジウムを開催するべく、現在、準備等に取り掛かっている。また、2023年9月にベトナムで開催される国際シンポジウムでの発表が確定していることから、本研究課題であるフランスと日本、さらにベトナム（仏領インドシナ）間の文化外交の調査に基づいた報告を行い、刊行物として公開する予定である。
