项目摘要

本研究の目的は，英語教師自身が自己の内面で発生した情動に着目し，その情動を契機として児童生徒とのやりとりにおいてどのような即興的思考をしたのかを検討する場として，授業研究を再構築することを目指すものである。3年目も，新型コロナウイルス感染症対策のため，研究協力校にて対面で授業研究および授業者へのインタビューを行い，データ収集することが計画通り運ばなかった。そのため，当初3年間の計画であった本研究を1年間延長することとした。研究協力者3名（2名の小学校外国語教育専科教員，1名の中学校教員）には，2年目から継続して，オンライン授業研究システムを活用した授業研究への参加，および，インタビューへの協力をお願いし，データの分析を進めた。2年目に共有された授業ビデオは16本，インタビューは6回行われた。本研究では，授業研究を通して，社会文化理論や二人称的アプローチに基づいて教師の情動と認知，および，即興的判断に注目した授業研究と授業者へのインタビューからその変容を明らかにすることを目指しているが，同時に，近年の学校教育において進む国主導による教育改革の推進や，学校教育現場の多忙化や人材不足から生じる働き方改革の波が，教師に及ぼす影響を社会学的な視点を持って検討していくことの必要性も見えてきた。学校における教科指導の中でも英語教育は，学習指導要領の改訂後，大きな制度変更がなされ，また，毎年，国による英語学習状況調査がなされるなど，国の政策が教師の教授行為，特に，情動面に対する影響が大きい。このため，3年目は，教師が経験する情動体験を「感情労働(emotion labor)」（Hochschild，1983）という側面から研究することにも着手した。
