项目摘要

2022年度は広島大学文学部に所蔵されている研究対象地域由来の考古資料について、整理ならびに基礎データの出版に向けた作業を進めた。また、発掘調査がなされたものの、その事実自体が未報告であった遺跡について、調査時のデータや記録のアーカイブを整理し、調査区の全貌や層序、検出遺構などを明らかにすることができた。並行して、後期青銅器時代の物質文化の特徴である彩文土器文化伝統の減退について、彩文土器塗料の理化学分析の成果をふまえて仮説を構築し、学会発表を行った。加えて、対象地域であるイラン北東部について、国家形成直前期の集落分布を精査し、集落分布の拡大について、居住や資源化が困難な土壌のエリアへの進出といった、未開発地域への広がりの詳細を明らかにした。本成果も関連学会にて公表している。また、こうした資料の今日的重要性を周知するアウトプットの一環として、研究対象資料を中心に構成する展示を実施すべく、準備を進めた。2023年4月に実現の運びとなっている。
