项目摘要

本研究は東アジア（日本・韓国・台湾）における国際結婚に占める主要な存在でありながら先行研究が看過してきた日本人女性とその子どもたちの聞き取り調査を通じ、生活圏としての東アジアの可能性と課題を明らかにすることを目的にしている。コロナ禍による海外調査ができずにいるが、zoom学習会により台湾と韓国で暮らす日本人結婚移住者の直接対話が可能になったことは予期せぬ収穫であった。その中で台湾と韓国における国籍法に関する情報格差などによって「日系ハーフ」日本留学の動機づけが大きく異なることが確認できた。また、この間、ヨーロッパとアメリカに居住する在外邦人とのネットワーク化が大きく進んだ。2023年2月に刊行した科研報告書『国籍法をめぐる当事者による市民的不服従』には当事者10名のエッセイと2つの在外邦人を対象に実施した国籍法に関するウェブアンケート調査結果（2019年・2021年）を収録することができた。報告書は複数国籍学習会ホームページ（https://sites.google.com/view/satokot/）で公開している。これまでの調査研究の成果は、2022年11月日本社会学会大会で報告した（「『日本人／外国人』の二分法と在外邦人の国籍問題」）。本年度開催学習会のテーマ：①22/5/15英国居住家族（父米国・母日本）の父の英国籍取得に伴い子にも登録による英国籍取得が認められ、予期せず日本国籍を喪失した問題点の論点整理、②22/9/18国籍法11条1項の違憲性を問う東京訴訟と福岡訴訟の論点整理、③23/1/29結婚移住者支援を含む移民政策の日韓比較。
