项目摘要

研究によって明らかにすることを予定している、(a)政策における「実務家教員」に対する期待、(b)それに対応して進められている「実務家教員」養成プログラムの内容、(c)すでにその職に就いている「実務家教員」の資質・能力に関する自己評価、(d)学術的知識を有する伝統的な教員による「実務家教員」に対する評価のうち、(b)、(c)、(d)に関して既に実施済みの聞き取り調査と質問紙調査のデータの分析を進めた。聞き取り調査については分析結果をまとめて論文にした。質問紙調査については単純集計表をインターネット上で公開するとともに、政策的インプリケーションとして提示できるよう論文化を進めている。分析の結果から、まず、実務家教員だからといっても必ずしも実務経験を重視した授業を行っているわけではないことが示された。大学内に実務家教員と非・実務家教員が分業するような組織構成が存在するわけではないためと推察される。次に、実務家教員と非・実務家教員との間に資質・能力についての自己評価の違いはあまりないことが示された。実務家教員の調査回答者に大学院博士課程修了者や研究を活発に行う者が多かったという偏りがあったためではあるものの、実務家教員が非・実務家教員と比較して自己を過大評価や過小評価をするような傾向は見られなかった。その一方で、実務家教員は他者の実務家教員を肯定的に評価し、非・実務家教員は他者の実務家教員を否定的に評価する傾向もあった。
