(研究課題1) 共同研究者の一橋大学手島健介准教授とミュンヘン大学熊埜御堂央氏とともに、墨米企業間貿易取引日次データセットを用いて、本課題の中心テーマであるメキシコ麻薬戦争のメキシコ・アメリカ貿易と取引関係への影響の分析を開始した。2022年に本研究で用いる計量経済学手法に大きな進展があり、それらの最新手法を学習し、本研究課題の分析に採用した。(研究課題2)　共同研究者のシンガポール経営大学Amanda Jakobsson助教授とともに、DHL航空輸送データセットの整備を行なった。輸出企業・輸入企業について、企業名・住所・顧客番号を整備し、同一企業について集める、いわゆる名寄せを行った。名寄せを自動で行う機械学習AIプログラムを構築するために、ランダム抽出データを名寄せし、AIプログラム用の学習データを作成した。機械学習AIプログラムを推計するためにPCを購入し、プログラムの構築を開始した。
