質的・量的研究によって，ホスピタリティ産業のための融合型管理会計モデルの構築を行うという目的のもと，下記のとおり研究をすすめた。研究課題1「融合型管理会計モデルの成果変数への影響分析」については，リサーチサイトであるA社より，2021年度の財務データを入手し，A社の従業員を対象としたアンケート調査データとの統合を行った。なお，2021年度の顧客満足度アンケート調査を実施すべく，質問票の設計をA社の経営企画部と行ったが，新型コロナウィルスの影響により，解析に必要なデータが十分に集まらないことを懸念し，調査の開始が延期となった。そのため，研究課題で提示していた従業員満足度，顧客満足度，ホテルの財務データの因果関係の分析は，顧客満足度データの入手後に実施することとなった。代わりに，2021年度の従業員満足度調査のデータを用い，融合型管理会計から財務成果の先行要因と考えられる現場従業員による改善行動への影響を検証するモデルを解析し，国際学会での発表を実施，英文プロシーディングス（ISBN付）に掲載された。研究課題2「不確実性が当該モデルに及ぼす影響分析」，研究課題3「A社・B社へのアンケート調査等の経年実施による，当該モデルの妥当性の検証」，研究課題4「参加型アクションリサーチによる，当該モデルにおけるコミュニケーションメカニズムの質的・量的解明」は過年度に完了している。最後に，これまでの研究成果を博士学位請求論文「The Framework of Management Control Systems Incorporated Market Orientation of Front-line Employees in Hospitality Organizations」としてまとめ，学位の取得に至った。
