これまで行ってきた調査結果は国際ジャーナルに論文発表してきた。本年度はそうした調査結果や議論を国内の英語教育関係者を念頭に置いて大幅に再検討・加筆し、和文論文２本にまとめた。欧米圏学位留学経験や高い英語力がなくとも就職・昇進することが可能な日本社会において、自主的に英語学習に投資し続ける社会人たちに着目し、各論文では次のような考察を行った：(1) 彼らが欧米英語圏とアセアン（準）英語圏を英語学習者のまま行き来する理由と社会的背景、(2) 欧米英語圏出身の「英語ネイティブ」講師を英語モデルとして、彼らによるレッスンを国内外で受講しつつも、フィリピン人講師によるオンライン英会話レッスンを一時的・同時に受講する理由と社会的背景。さらに、３年目に民間調査会社に委託したアンケート調査から得られたデータを質的・量的に分析した。対象は欧米圏出身英語講師(対面・オンライン)とフィリピン人講師（オンライン）による英会話レッスンの両方を受講した（ている）女性 200名(20-59歳)であった。その結果、(1)英会話レッスン受講目的として「趣味・習い事」が一番多い、という日本（人女性）特有の結果となった。ただし若い年齢層は同世代の講師たちとの共通の話題が増えるため、受講そのものが目的となりやすいことが伺えた。さらに、(2)欧米・フィリピン文化への学習意欲は低かったことから、日本人英語学習者たちにとって「文化学習」の限定的な魅力を指摘した。(3) フィリピン人講師によるレッスンの利点として、「同じ」アジア人・英語学習者という、白人・ネイティブの欧米人講師にはない資質があるために、自分たちのことを理解して「くれる」という認識が明らかになった。こうした認識を文化本質主義やネイティブ・スピーカー中心主義などの観点から考察した。

The results of this investigation are reported in the international journal. This year's survey results show that there is a great deal of discussion about the relationship between English education and Chinese education. English Language Education in Europe and the United States English Language Education in Europe and the United States English Language Education in Europe and the United States English Language Education in Japan (1) the reasons for English learners 'behavior and social background in the European English Circle;(2) the reasons for English learners' behavior and social background in the European English Circle;(3) the reasons for English learners 'behavior and social background in the European English Circle;(4) the reasons for English learners' behavior and social background in the European English Circle;(5) the reasons for English learners 'behavior and social background in the European English Circle. In the past three years, the private research society has commissioned a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results of the research. The number of female students (20-59 years old) is 200.
