本研究の目的は「巻き込まれ（傾倒-援助的コミュニケーション）」を中核とするスピリチュアルケアリング・モデルを構築することである。構築されたスピリチュアルケアリング・モデルの妥当性の検証を経て、スピリチュアルケアの＜先行要件＞→＜巻き込まれ（傾倒-援助的コミュニケーション）＞→＜帰結＞を明らかにすることで、スピリチュアルケア分野の学術的・臨床的発展に寄与することができる。【2022年度】研究4年目は、昨年度に続き、看護における「巻き込まれ（傾倒-援助的コミュニケーション）」の要素の抽出するために、困難事例への対処行為について理論記述化を段階的に試みた。第一段階は、地域統括相談支援センターを設置している府県と判断した全14府県の地域統括相談支援センターに所属する相談員38名を対象に質問紙調査を実施し、18名の有効回答（困難事例18事例とその対処内容の記述）を得た。第二段階は、第一段階で回答した18名を対象に面接調査の参加協力を依頼し、8名の同意を得てZoom面接（困難事例とその対処内容についての半構造化面接）を実施した。その結果については質的記述的に分析し、その結果を整理して参加協力者にフィードバックする予定である。また、傾倒以外で援助的コミュニケーションスキル(TCS)に影響を及ぼす要因を明らかにするために、看護学生100名に実施した半構造化面接の結果からは、以下の6要因が示唆された。「患者に関心を向ける；返答を予測する」などで構成された【心がまえ】、「患者を否定しない；控えめに関わる」などで構成された【心がけ】、「患者の心境・対人交流の特徴」などで構成された【患者の状態】、「教員からの助言；授業等での学び」などで構成された【手がかり】、「患者からの影響；患者との関係性」などで構成された【双方向の関係】、「学生の知識不足・効力感減退」などで構成された【阻害要素】。
