项目摘要

統計学の応用分野においてパレート(Pareto)分布は重要な役割を果す. 実際, 経済学, 物理学, 水文学, 地質学, 天文学等の分野において用いられている。一方、理論的観点から正則な面を部分的にもつ広義の非正則モデルは、特に非正則な面が既知の場合には正則モデルになり、また、正則な面が既知の場合には非正則モデルになるので、正則と非正則の双方をつなぐモデルとして重要である。そして、そのモデルの典型としてパレート分布を含む切断指数型分布族のモデルが考えられるが、切断母数γと局外母数θをもつ切断分布族において分布族を切断指数型に制約することが本質的なのかという問題も生ずる。今年度は、局外母数θと切断母数γをもつ一般の下側切断分布族において, θが既知または未知の場合にγのベイズ推定量の確率展開を求め, θが既知のときのγのベイズ推定量に対するθが未知のときのγのベイズ推定量の2次の漸近損失を、2次の漸近分散の差として求めた。その際、未知の母数θをθの最尤推定量で代用した。また、下側切断分布族の場合の結果は下側切断指数型分布族の場合を系として含み基本的な構造は変わらないことを示し、例として切断コーシー分布の場合を挙げた。従って切断分布族を指数型に限定する必要がないことが示されたので、本成果によってt分布を含む広範囲の分布によるモデルの構造が明確化されたとともに適用可能な応用範囲も広くなった。また、切断指数型に制限することが本質的でないことも明きらかにになった。

For example, if the distribution is exponential, it is necessary to specify the structure of the distribution. The index type is limited by the nature of the index type.
