本年度は，デザイン推論過程における生体（生理）データを取得し，その分析と解釈によってサイクリックアブダクションを高度化するための方法を検討するための知見の獲得をするため，昨年度までの研究実績に基づいて，デザイン活動でのサイクリックアブダクションにおける，「探索のサイクル」と「解決のサイクル」それぞれの生理データを取得する被験者実験を実施した。これは，双方の間でアブダクションの内容，特に思考の抽象度が大きく異なることから，「探索のサイクル」と「解決のサイクル」の間における脳前頭前野の使い方や精神的ストレスにおける違いの把握を目的とするものである。取得した生体（生理）データは，NIRSによる脳賦活状態と，RRIによる心理的ストレス状態で，いずれも量的データである。これに加えてアイデア考案の結果であるアイデアの質と数もデータとして，被験者をグループ分けして分析した結果，抽象度の違いに加えて課題順序が影響することや，サイクリックアブダクションを比較的上手くできているグループとそうでないグループでは脳前頭前野の使い方が異なることなどが示唆された。この研究成果は査読付き論文誌で発表予定であり，年度末の時点では論文の執筆途上である。このほか，以下の研究を行った。デザイナーがサイクリックアブダクションを高度に行うためには，あるアイデアに対して批判的に評価し，別のフレームを適用するなどして異なる仮説を生成する必要があり，加えて，当然のことながら創造力も要求されるはずである。この双方の能力や性質の両立可能性を調べた。その結果，両立は可能であるが，創造力を構成する一部の要素については批判的思考態度とは関係しないことが示唆された。この研究成果は本年度内に投稿済みで，現在査読中である。以上，大別して２種類の研究を行った。いずれも未発表であるが，年度末の時点では，発表に向け活動中の段階にある。
