项目摘要

今年度行った研究の実績は主に以下の二点である。（１）前衛芸術における時間概念の検討昨年度の研究により、20世紀初頭のイタリア芸術においては、前衛であれ古典回帰の動きであれ、過去から未来へと進んでいく直線的な時間概念の失効という前提を共有していたのではないかという仮説に至った。今年度はこの仮説を検証するために、未来派のマニフェストやその他関連文献を検証し、芸術の歴史観がどのように捉えられているかを分析する作業を行った。この作業はまだ結論に至っておらず、来年度も引き続き作業を進める予定である。またイタリアの状況を客観的に分析するために、同時代の他国の前衛芸術についても検証を行った。（２）『ヴァローリ・プラスティチ』派と新即物主義イタリアにおける秩序回帰の中心となった『ヴァローリ・プラスティチ（新造形主義）』は国際的な芸術雑誌であり、ヨーロッパの他の地域にも影響力を持ったことが知られている。特にドイツにおいてはゲオルク・シュリンプフをはじめとする新即物主義ないし魔術的リアリズムと呼ばれる具象画家たちの画風に顕著な影響を認めることができる。そこで今年度は、新即物主義の画家たちについての文献調査を集中的に行った。そこから明らかになったのは、日常的な風俗や風景、静物を具象的な方法で描いた点で彼らは共通しているが、「造形」に対する理念や政治性に明確な差異が見られることである。特に政治性の問題は後のファシズムと彼らの芸術との関わりを考える上で重要であり、来年度も継続して考察したいと考えている。

This year's performance is mainly based on the following two points: (1) The concept of time in the avant-garde art is discussed in the past year's research. The common point of description, the concept of "shape" and the clear difference of political nature are the common customs, the scenery and the concrete methods of life. Special political issues are important for the future.
