项目摘要

本研究は、日本語を学習する留学生に対する発音トレーニング（HVPT)の効果を検証することを目的としている。HVPT（High Variation Phonetic Training）とは、多様な音声で提示されるターゲット語を繰り返し弁別判断することを通じて、判断基準を獲得すること、ひいては、知覚だけでなく生成にも基準が反映されることが期待される訓練方法である。主に欧米での成果が報告されているが日本では見かけない。学習者を調査対象とするため、学内の倫理審査をうけ承認を得た。審査内容は、授業を受講している留学生の日本語の促音の知覚と生成を調査することを目的にするものである。承認を得たのち、授業時間内に日本語の促音に関するタスクを実施しデータを得たが、学生が十分な数ではないため論文にするにはデータが不足している。継続してデータを収集する必要がある。タスクとは別途、の文献収集にあたっている。本研究で対象とする言語リズムやプロソディを扱った研究は今のところまだ見当たらない。HVPTを扱った論文ではないが、外国人の日本語促音の習得に関する研究論文に、単語単位ではなく文単位で扱う方が習得に有効であるとする論文があった。通常、HVPTにおける刺激音声は、単語単位をベースとして知覚トレーニングを行うものであり、本研究もこれまで、単語単位での実験および試験プランを想定していたが、文単位で実施する方向でも検討する必要があると考えている。
