2022年度は延長1年目ということもあり、これまでの研究を整理するとともに新しい方向性を模索した。研究代表者は、国際会議、PRSCO(The Pacific Regional Science Conference Organisation）において、論文を報告した。本研究は、直接的に少子化問題と関わるものではないが、地域間協力の要素を含んでいる。一般に一刻の人口問題は、地域ごとの特性や地域間の相互作用、地域間の協力によって大きな影響を受けるため、本研究は、今後の研究の拡張に生かすための準備としては有用であると考えている。研究分担者は、徳島県西部医療圏に過疎部における介護サービスの効率性について検討した論文を公刊した。地域の過疎化や介護サービスのあり方は、当該地域の出生率や人口移動に密接な関係を持つため、本研究テーマにとっても重要な成果となった。さらに研究分担者は、上記のPRSCOにおいて、待機児童という問題が都市間の人口移動や都市における所得をどのように変化させるのかについて分析した論文を報告した他、North American Regional Science Councilでも地域の子育て支援政策が都市化と人口動態に及ぼす影響について考察した別の論文を報告した。その他には、研究代表者も分担者もれまでの理論的研究を整理した論文を執筆したが、これについては2023年度における国際学会において報告する予定である（現段階では、European Regional Science Associationに申し込み済みである）。さらに、これまでに構築してきた理論モデルの妥当性や政策の効果を検討するための実証分析を進めるためのデータ収集も進めている。

2022-- Research representatives are invited to international conferences, PRSCO(The Pacific Regional Science Conference Organisation), and present papers. This study includes the direct problem of population reduction and the elements of regional cooperation. General population problems, regional characteristics, regional interaction, regional cooperation, and the preparation of future research The author of the study published a paper on the effectiveness of the Western Tokushima Medical Center. The results of this study are important when the birth rate and population movement of the region are closely related. This paper reports on the research contribution of PRSCO to population dynamics and the impact of urbanization on population growth and development in North American Regional Science Council. He is the representative of the research team and the author of the paper. The report of the International Society for the Year 2023 is scheduled (at the present stage, the European Regional Science Association). In this paper, we discuss the validity of the theory and the effect of the policy, and analyze the progress of the research and development.
