本研究は玄応撰『一切経音義』の祖本を復元して確定すること、ならびにその確定した祖本と日本古写経や敦煌文献と対照して相違する漢訳仏典の用語を考察す るものである。以下、研究実績の概要を述べる。一切経音義は全25巻で、前20巻は玄奘（645年）以前の旧訳仏典で、後５巻は玄奘の新訳仏典に注釈を施している。注意すべきは、「経文作～」という文字の異同を示す注釈が1,073条あり、前20巻にのみ存することである。「経文作～」は仏典中の用語を記録・訂正するための注である。本研究ではこれを「字体注記」と呼ぶ。敦煌文献の調査を通して、仏典中の用語に一切経音義の字体注記と異なるものが発見された。本研究では、現行の仏典中の用語と『一切経音義』の見出し語及び字体注記と異なるものを抽出した。その例として、『妙法蓮華経』と新旧訳の『阿毘逹磨倶舍論』を、敦煌写経・『一切経音義』日本古写本と照合して，漢訳仏典用語の校勘および変遷の解明を試みた。それ以外、今まで調査した『一切経音義』古写本に関して、書写形式や増訂省略などを考察して、古写本成立の特徴について指摘を行った。研究の基礎資料としてこれまでに構築して来た「一切経音義全文データベース」には、十種類の一切経音義の日本古写本(正倉院本・法隆寺本等)と刊本（高麗本等）を収録するので、それらの整備・点検を行った。同時に、未着手であった興聖寺本と敦煌断片を追加して再構築した。

There are many examples, such as "wonderful methods", "wonderful methods", "the Old and New ones", "the discussion of the Old and the New", "the meaning of all sounds" written in Dunhuang, the ancient Japanese manuscripts, and the ancient Japanese manuscripts. In addition to the ancient book, the meaning of all sounds in the ancient script, the form of writing, the omission of the survey, and the establishment of a special book to criticize the line. In this paper, the basic data are reviewed, and the full text of all sounds, ten kinds of ancient Japanese manuscripts (Orthodox Academy, Fallon Temple, etc.) are published (high-end edition, etc.). At the same time, we have not begun to make an additional exhibition of the Dunhuang fragments of the temple.
