项目摘要

本研究の目的は、「記憶の政治」というキーワードをもって、①朝鮮戦争における青少年の戦争動員（兵士としての参戦を含む）の様相と特徴を把握し、②これを20世紀の大きな戦争において確認される世界史の中の子どもの動員と、今日のグローバルな人権問題として台頭した子ども兵の問題の脈絡の中に位置づけを試み、③現代韓国における少年兵の記念のされ方を検討して、1990年代以後に提起された少年兵をめぐる記憶が持つ意味を明らかにすることである。これを受け、本年度には、現代韓国社会における少年兵の記憶の特徴を戦友会の活動、記念館、映画という三つの側面から検討した。第一に、戦友会の活動に関しては、少年兵参戦者が1990年代から残した回顧録、メディアのインタビュー記事、追悼行事の催しなどを検討し、歴史的記録として残っている事実ではなく、現代によみがえった記憶として少年兵が持つ意味を分析した。第二に、記念館は国家の公式記憶が語られる場として、次世代に対する教育の機能まで担当していることに着目し、設立の主体によって記念館ごとに微細な差を表す少年兵に対するナラティブを明らかにした。第三に、過去に対する集合記憶を再現する媒体としての映画に注目し、朝鮮戦争に参戦した少年兵に関して、近年韓国で公開された二編の戦争映画がどのように少年兵を描いているのかを分析した。また、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡散による採用期間の延長の機会を受け、延長された6か月の間に、現地調査の代替とした文献資料の検討と分析を行った。詳細には、記念館への現地調査を行う代わりに、記念と記憶の研究に関する入手可能な文献を中心に追加的な研究を行い、理論的な観点の補強を行った。
