Investigation of relationship between respiratory sounds and respiration pattern for the choking prevention

最近，在我国，老年患者因吸入性肺炎造成的死亡率有所上升。为了防止误吸，吞咽和呼吸协调是很重要的。本研究探讨无牙患者戴假牙与不戴假牙时呼吸模式的差异，探讨呼吸音与呼吸模式的关系，以预防窒息和误吸。无牙人群存在更多的安全呼吸模式，且不佩戴假牙时吸出风险高的呼吸模式比例增加。呼吸声和呼吸模式的相关研究有待进一步研究。

Recently, in our country, mortality rates owing to aspiration pneumonia have increased in elderly patients. To prevent aspiration, it is important to coordinate swallowing and respiration. This study examined differences between respiration patterns of edentulous patients while wearing or not wearing their dentures and investigated the relation of respiratory sounds and respiration patterns for the choking and aspiration prevention.There were more safety respiration patterns in the edentulous, the ratio of the respiration patterns with a high aspiration risk increased while not wearing dentures. A related investigation of respiratory sounds and respiratory patterns needs the further study.
