项目摘要

極低出生体重児(一部、超低出生体重児を含む)の前言語期におけるコミュニケーションの特性を明らかにするために、4組の極低出生体重児の乳児と母親(途中から1組追加となり5組となった)に協力いただき、月に1回程度家庭訪問を行い、母子の相互作用の観察と母親への育児についてのインタビューやアンケートを行った。年度の始めから、12月頃まではコロナウィルスの影響や子どもの疾病等が重なり、予定していた家庭訪問がキャンセルになる等、月1回の継続した観察が出来ないこともあった。しかしながら、5組中2組の母子は、比較的継続的に観察を行うことが可能であり、本来計画していた0歳～3歳までのデータを揃えることができた。満期産児のコミュニケーションとの相違を明らかにするため、2021年度に筆者がまとめた満期産児についての論文(「前言語期における2組の母子の手に関するコミュニケーション行動-母親の指さし行動と子どものハンドテイキング行動に注目して-/乳幼児教育学研究(30)41-52 2022年3月)で使用したコミュニケーションの指標を元に、分析を行った。その結果、特に子ども達が行う「指さし行動」の質において、満期産児との違いがみられた。また、残る3組の極低出生体重児(一部、超低出生体重児を含む)の1歳代から2歳までのデータから、発達初期の社会性の発達において特徴がみられ、現在、それらの分析結果を、論文としてまとめている最中である。また、母親へのインタビューを通して、母親自身が感じる子育てへの思い(苦悩や喜び等)についても明らかとなり、母親の「子どもに対しての捉え方」に、満期産児との違いを読み取ることができた。その点に関しても並行して別の論文としてまとめる予定である。
