项目摘要

本研究はネットワーク理論に基づいて都市の街路構造の歴史的変遷を定量的に分析するもので、（1）ネットワークの評価方法の構築、（2）都市史における複数時点の交通ネットワークの再現（3）複数の歴史断面における交通ネットワークに対する評価と史的考察の大きく３つの項目により構成されている。（1）は、交通ネットワークに対する評価可能な汎用的な方法論の構築であり、既往の方法論に対して対象とする都市固有の交通を表現する制約を追加するかたちで設計するものを主としている。（2）（3）は、歴史上で都市形態が大きく変化する契機となる時点の前後の交通ネットワークを再現して比較分析するもので、史実と照合しながら考察することで、新しい史的解釈が可能になると考えられる。本年度は前年度に遂行した理論に対する拡張を行い、ヴェネチアを対象として理論の適用を行っている。ヴェネチアは群島から構成されているため、閉じたネットワークとして解釈することができ、境界問題をある程度無視することができる。また、その他にない独特な都市構造や美的観点から鮮明な古地図が残り、ネットワークを現在のものと比較できる程度に構築することできる。さらに、車両の通行がなく徒歩と水路交通が主たる手段であり、かつての交通手段の選択と現在を比較しても程度の差はあるものの、交通手段において大きな変化はないと考えられる。以上のような理由で好例な研究対象として最適であるため、ヴェネチアを対象としている。本年度では、ヴェネチアの約300年前（1729年）の古地図から再現した交通ネットワークを解析することにより、300年前の水路による交通で特に賑わっていたであろう（幾何学的な観点から人々の活動のポテンシャルが高い）地域を特定し、また徒歩と水路による交通手段の乗換の円滑性によりネットワークの特徴量が大きく変化することが判明している。

This study focuses on the quantitative analysis of the evolution of urban street structure history based on the theory of urban development,(1) the construction of urban development evaluation methods,(2) the reconstruction of urban development at multiple time points,(3) the investigation of urban development evaluation history in multiple historical sections, and (4) the construction of urban development evaluation projects.
