申請者は昭和初期の農家を対象に行われた家計調査のデータベース化を進めた。新型コロナウィルス蔓延により、データ入力アルバイトの雇用が難航し、進捗に遅れが生じているものの、アルバイト雇用や業務委託を利用し順調に進めている。具体的には農業経済調査簿のうち、地方概況、調査項目記入欄、世帯員情報、北丹後地震の被災に関する記述の整理を進めた。日誌には各世帯員それぞれがの日々の作業内容（農業・養蚕・公務・家事・余暇の内容等）及び種目印とその作業時間が手書きで記されている。手書き部分を判読するのに難航したものの、熟練したアルバイトを雇用し可能な限り効率的に進め、世帯員情報、生産行動、売買行動、交流活動、世帯内役割分業、雇人の雇用とその仕事内容などがデジタル化された。これを用いてさらなる分析を進める予定である。
