研究1 "Demand for temperature and rainfall index insurance in India”については、申請者が実際にインドにおいて行った保険販売実験データと家計調査データを用い、気温保険・降水量保険の需要とサンプル家計の社会経済的出自の関係性を計量経済学的に分析した。前年度の進捗に基づき、当該年度はさらにデータ分析や論文改訂を進めた。7月に国際英文査読誌に投稿した。9月末に改訂要求を得た。PD採用辞退後に出版が決定した。研究2“Direct and indirect impacts of index-based livestock insurance in southern Ethiopia”について、エチオピアにて2012年から販売している牧畜民向け家畜保険を取り上げた。現地での生計である牧畜は、干ばつの影響で深刻な影響を受けるため、衛星写真を用いた植生指数をインデックスとした家畜保険が年2回・過去6回販売された（販売実験を含む）。この保険により所得・資産・消費等の生計に与えたインパクトを計量経済学的に分析した。申請者はデータ分析と論文執筆を担当し、6月に国際英文査読誌に投稿した。翌年度4月に出版が決定した。研究3 "Financial inclusion and female empowerment: Evidence from Honduras"について、ホンジュラスにおいて行われた金融教育研修が女性の社会参画に与えた影響について分析した。申請者はデータ分析の全て及び論文執筆、学会報告を担当した（5月に大阪大学国際公共政策研究科ブラウンバッグセミナー、6月に日本経済学会春季大会・兵庫県立大学）。得られたコメントを元に改訂した。
