项目摘要

経済環境が大きく変化した局面に着目し、企業統治や企業金融を対象とした実証研究を行った。経済環境の変化として、本年度はコロナ禍および岸田政権発足を対象とした。第1に、交付申請書記載の研究目的および研究実施計画に基づき、社外取締役の役割を重視した分析を行った。実証分析の前提として、まずは理論研究の整理を行なった。実証分析手法は、2015年コーポレートガバナンス・コード導入、および2019年COVID-19発生の2つの準自然実験に基づく差の差分析である。分析の結果、コーポレートガバナンス・コードを契機に社外取締役を選任した企業はそうでない企業に比べてコロナ禍における企業価値の減少幅が小さかったことを明らかにした。すなわち、コロナ禍においてはアベノミクス以降の企業統治改革が望ましい結果をもたらしたと評価できる。研究代表者として行った研究課題18K12819「企業統治と企業価値：準自然実験アプローチを用いた実証研究」では、2015年コーポレートガバナンス・コード導入前後を対象に分析を行い、コードを遵守した企業の企業価値が下がったことを明らかにした。本年度示した結果と対照的である。第2に、岸田政権発足に着目した実証分析も行った。新しい資本主義の提言など、経済環境を大きく変え得ると考えられる。イベントスタディの枠組みを用い、岸田政権発足を通じた経済政策変化の可能性を株式市場がどう捉えたか分析した。岸田政権はその後NISA拡充など国民の株式市場参加を促す制度改正を行なっており、今後の経済運営にも示唆をもたらす研究である。

Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance Research This year's economic crisis and the development of the Kishida government are all facing difficulties. The first part is the research purpose of the application document and the basic analysis of the research implementation plan.
