项目摘要

一年目の2022年度は、日仏における探究型学習を先駆的に実践している学校の見学を行った。生活教育を軸に独自のカリキュラムのもと教育を行っている①②「私立和光小学校」（世田谷と鶴川）、作文を中心に子どもの自己表現を尊重する教育を推進する③「私立桐朋小学校」（調布）、新教育学者ニイルやデューイの思想を軸に体験学習を軸とした教育を行う④「きのくに子どもの村学園小中学校」（和歌山）、仏トゥールーズ市でフレネ教育を含む新教育の思想を取り入れた教育実践を行っている⑤私立ラプレリー幼稚園小中学校、以上の日仏で計５校の学校を訪問した。また、仏トゥールーズ大学からの招聘により、同大にて大学院での授業を計2回行った際には、生活綴方の実践例を紹介し、戦前から現代まで日本においても子ども中心の教育が行われてきた歴史と意義と自由な表現活動を尊重する教育の先駆性について、発表を行なった。この招聘の際に、上記でも述べた通り、トゥールーズ市内でフレネ教育を含む様々な新教育の理念・思想を元に独自の実践を幼小中と連続して行う私立ラプレリー幼稚園小中学校へ、２日間の見学をすることができたことは大変参考になった。ここでは幼稚園からプロジェクト型教育を取り入れ、子どもたちが自分の興味のあるテーマについて調べ発表するという探求型学習を、中学校までの教育実践の土台としている。今後の調査でさらに詳細を明らかにしていきたい。加えて、今年も県立都留高校にて学校評議員の任務を配されたご縁で、同校にて数年前から行っている探究学習の授業：通称「つる探」の中間発表と途中の授業、そして最終発表の合計３回の見学をさせて頂いた。高校生たちがグループで興味ある分野の研究を進めていくプロセスを、年間を通して見られたことは大きく、問いを持つことや批評の難しさ等の課題も浮き彫りになった。来年も継続して同校の探究活動を見学し分析していきたい。
