项目摘要

本研究は、「絶対音感教育」に関する従来の見解である「園田清秀が独自に考案した」という説を再検討し、日本でリズム運動としてのみ注目されるダルクローズの総合的音楽教育法リトミックと深い関係を持つヨーロッパの合唱指導法やハリストス正教会の合唱指導法に起源を持つ教育であること、また、これまで1930年代に始まり戦後公教育から消滅したとされる「絶対音感教育」が、それ以前に日本のハリストス正教会の合唱指導として行われていた前史があることを明らかにすることを課題としている。１年目は、ダルクローズ関連の史料を精査することにより、リトミックと呼ばれるダルクローズの音楽教育法と「絶対音感教育」との関係を明らかにすること、また作曲家山田耕筰の関わりを詳細に調査することを課題とした。そのため、ダルクローズの伝記的文献と彼が記したリトミックのメソッドに関する原典および邦訳版を収集し、先行研究を参考に分析をを行った。その結果、ダルクローズのメソッドには絶対音感を獲得するための手法が含まれており、絶対音感獲得について言及していることについて確認した。山田耕筰とリトミックとの関係については先行研究の精査、分析にとどまったが、２－３年目に予定していたハリストス正教会との関連性については、日本における洋楽受容史に関する先行研究や、ハリストス正教会関連の文献等で言及されていた親族関係に注目することで明確にした。また、ハリストス正教会の合唱指導においては、絶対音感教育の先駆けとして位置づけられることを明らかにした。
