外食や市販食品を含む網羅的な栄養成分データベースを構築するために、MyFood24などの既存のウェブ版24時間思い出し法におけるデータベースの開発論文について文献検索を行なった。2022年12月に東京にて、オーストラリア版Intake24の開発の中心人物であるTracy McCaffrey博士（Monash University）と、データベースの開発や今後の方針についてミーティングを行なった。その結果、「製品ごとに食品や栄養素の含有量の情報を収集してデータベースを開発するよりも、各製品に適用できる標準的な食品や料理のデータを使用するほうが、データベースの開発や更新の手間が少なく、合理的である」との結論に至った（実際、オーストラリア版のIntake24でも同様の方法が用いられている）。そこで、食品の栄養素含有量については日本標準食品成分表2020のデータを用い、料理の栄養素含有量については研究責任者が以前開発した料理データベースを用いることとした。料理データベースについては、既に食事記録(1)と24時間蓄尿(2)のそれぞれを比較対照とした妥当性研究を実施済である。また、個々の食品のポーションサイズの推定に使用する食品画像についても、データベースの開発(3)・妥当性検証(4)が既に終わっている。現在は、Intake24開発に関わる技術者に日本語版の開発に協力してもらえるよう打診している。1.
