○研究目的:今,学んでいることが現実世界とどのように関連しているのかを自己に意味づけることで生徒自ら課題を見出し,数学を創造していくことの価値に気づくことができる。そして,他者と多様な見方・考え方を表出しながら数学を創造していくことが,生きてはたらく基礎・基本の確実な定着を図り,論理的に考えていく力,数学的に表現する力を伸長できるという仮説のもと,取り組んだ研究である。○研究方法:協同学習の理念に基づいた小グループを基本とした話し合いを中心に据え,教育課程を編成し授業づくりを行った。ライフスキルトレーニングの手法を取り入れたり,個々の責任を明確にしたり,生徒の学びに機能する話し合い活動が展開できるようなルールづくりをめざした。ここでのルールは現実世界にも転化可能であり,その重要性を実感した。話し合いの中では自分の考えを,言葉,式,図,表,グラフ等を用いて説明する。必然的に数学の表現方法を用い,相手に自分の考えを伝えるために,筋道を立ててわかりやすく説明しようとする姿が見られた。ここに数学的表現力と論理的思考力の育みがみられた。生徒の発話分析をすすめていくと,「例えば」,「次に」,「したがって」など,論理的に自分の考えを伝えるための接続詞が多用されていた。○研究成果:いまだ「教師伝達型」,「反復習得型」の授業が基礎・基本の確実な定着であると考えている教師が多い。また,その授業スタイルから脱却できずに悩んでいる教師も多い。論理的思考力,数学的表現力の育みが基礎・基本の確実な定着と密接に関連しているということ,そのためには学びに機能する話し合い(相互作用)を授業に取り入れることが大切であるということが,授業実践を通して明らかとなった。
