项目摘要

【具体的内容】東洋医学分野から、鍼灸ドメインを中心とするオントロジーを構築した。オントロジー構築のソフトウェアには、大阪大学産業科学研究所・溝口研究室開発のオントロジーエディタ「法造」を用いた。構築したオントロジーの規模は、概念語の語数で約500である。全ての概念語は、はり師・きゅう師の養成校の教科書「東洋医学概論」「経絡経穴概論」「はりきゅう理論」(いずれも東洋療法学校協会編集)から抽出した。概念間の関係を作成する中で、"is-a"関係と"part-of'関係による構築に加えて、新規に関係概念を10程度追加することが必要であった。【意義】国内外の医学分野で、オントロジーへの取り組みが進行中である。東洋医学分野でも、中国では中国伝統医学の統合的なオントロジーの開発が行われ、国内では日本東洋医学会を中心に漢方分野での取り組みがなされている。しかし、国内では鍼灸分野のオントロジーは未着手である。今回、研究を進める過程で、既知の情報科学的な概念の関係だけでは、鍼灸オントロジーの構築は困難なことが明らかになった。そして、オントロジーの構築により、概念間の関係と相互の位置付けが明確になり、基礎資料として東洋医学教育への利用に資するものとなった。また、国内外の鍼灸概念の相違を比較するツールとして、オントロジーの有効性を示すこともできた。加えて、初学者や学際的研究を行う鍼灸非専門家に対する、基礎的な鍼灸概念の提示が可能になり、今後の鍼灸の学際研究の進展へも寄与する可能性がある。【今後の展望】今回のオントロジーの構築研究では、概念抽出の対象に教科書を用いた。今後は、その対象を内外の古典に拡大し、文献学的な研究へ応用できる可能性を検討したい。また、構築したオントロジーを基本とする鍼灸臨床データベース、などへの展開も考えていきたい。
