项目摘要

本年度は、中学校2年生までを対象とした,英語インタビューテストセットを5つ開発した。それぞれ,(1)相手の話に反応し、さらに話を引き出す(2レベル)(2)絵の内容を描写し,相手の質問を助けに,描写を詳述する(3)自分の経験した事実を伝え,対話に発展させる(4)相手の既知・未知を意識しながら,事実について説明し,対話を通じて相手の理解を深めることをタスクとした。テスト(1)では,定型的なリアクションの表現を学習し,正しく使えることと,質問やコメントを述べることで話題に対する興味を示し,さらに話し手から情報を引き出すことができるようになる。テスト(2)では,場面の説明から,登場人物の行動描写や表情などの情報から気持ちを推測し,表現する。その描写は,日常的に親しみのある表現とする。テスト(3)では,構造をフォーマット化された日記(テーマの提示/行動の描写/感想の記述)を英作文させ,その原稿を元に,自分の身近な出来事について表現する。相手からの質問に答えたり,逆に自分からその話題について相手の関心を引き出す質問をする。テスト(4)では,日本文化の説明を題材に,自分とその出来事・事物との関わりを説明させ,話題に対する相手の理解を確認しながら説明する。2010年発行の広島大学附属福山中・高等学校研究紀要において,その指導手順と評価規準・基準について公表した。
