中学校の次期学習指導要領では,内容構成の見直しとして数学的活動が新設され,その中で「日常生活で数学を利用する活動」などが規定された。また,「具体的な場面」というキーワードが多用され学習指導の充実が求められている。これについては,数学教育が置かれている現状がもとになっていると考えるが,一つには,PISA調査の結果,数学的リテラシーは低下傾向が見られることが問題視されていることや,全国学力・学習状況調査及び教育課程実施状況調査においても,いわゆるPISA型問題が使用され重要視されていることがある。また,二点目は,活用が苦手であったり,数学は日常生活には役に立たないという意識が強いなど,具体的な場面と数学との関連性についての生徒の信念の弱さが従前から指摘されていることがある。そこで,次期学習指導要領では「日常生活で数学を利用する活動」や「具体的な場面で活用すること」が求められている。そのため,具体的な場面と数学を結びつけるための指導計画や課題の開発及び評価規準等の整備が不可欠である。本研究においては,数学的モデリング活動だけでなく数学的活動全般に対して,数学を具体的な場面で活用するための学習指導法の開発等を行った。なお,学習指導法の中には,指導計画の整備,課題の開発・整備,観点別評価規準の整備が含まれる。つまり,(1)「具体的な場面」で活用できる能力を育成するための指導計画,指導方法の収集、整備(2)単元毎に「具体的な場面で数学を活用する」ことを意識した演習のための課題の収集・開発・整備(3)(1),(2)を用いて指導した後の,観点別評価に使用する評価問題や評価方法等そのものを評価する手法(CT法)を新たに開発を行った。
