1研究の目的本研究の目的は、小学校外国語活動における電子黒板を用いた絵本の読み聞かせ教材を開発し、その教材の効果的な活用方法について検証することである。2研究の方法東京都公立小学校高学年児童109名(実験群50名、統制群59名)を対象に、実験群では電子黒板を用い、統制群では電子黒板を用いずに授業を行った。授業前、各授業後、3回全ての授業後にアンケート調査を実施し、調査結果について直接確率計算、分散分析、x^2検定を用いて分析した。3研究の成果(1)英語や外国への興味・関心に関する児童の意識の変容実験群、統制群ともに、「英語はおもしろい」「英語を勉強するのは楽しみ」「英語を話す人と仲よくなりたい」「たくさんの人と英語で話してみたい」の4項目において、授業前より授業後の方が有意に高くなった。よって、本研究で用いた教材は英語や外国に対する児童の興味・関心を高めることが明らかになった。(2)各活動に対する児童の意識各活動内容に対して具体的に12項目をあげて調査した結果、全ての項目において両群ともに肯定的回答が有意に多くなった。また、両群を比較したところ、7項目において実験群が有意に高くなり、絵本に関する項目では全て実験群が有意に高かった。よって、本研究で用いた電子黒板を用いた読み聞かせ教材は、高学年の児童に適していることが明らかになった。(3)各授業後の児童の評価各授業評価振り返りシート6項目「楽しかった」「わかりやすかった」「はじめて知ったことがあった」「話をよく聞けた」「進んで参加した」「外国を知りたい」の全てにおいて、両群ともに肯定的回答が多かった。よって、両群ともに児童は各授業に対して高い評価をしたことが明らかになった。また、両群の比較においては、全ての項目で実験群が有意に高かった。このことから、電子黒板を用いた授業に対して、児童はより高い評価をしたことが確認できた。
