本研究では、戦後から昭和35年度までの期間を対象として、衣食住の住にあたる都市や建築という要素が、小・中学校における学校教育の中の学習内容において、どのように扱われ、展開されてきたのか、当時の学習指導要領、教科書をもとにその実態を明らかにしようとするものである。対象とする期間では、知識重視の系統型の学習とは異なり、「生活単元型学習」のスタイルをとり、子どもの生活を基礎とした学習が行われていた。本研究では、戦後に新しく開設された社会科と家庭科を教科の対象とし、学習指導要領および教科書に記載されている内容から、都市や建築に関するもの(用語や内容、挿絵など)を抽出し、当時の戦後という時代背景なども考慮しながら、学校教育における都市や建築の扱われ方について研究を行った。当時の学習指導要領には、自分の住まいの間取りについて考えるといった項目や自分の暮らすまちの地域構造について学ぶといったものがあり、高度経済成長以前の日本的な自然と調和した集落が数多く存在していた日本において、社会科という学習の中で民俗学的な視点も含めて自らが暮らす環境(集落や家、地形、河川など)の形成について学ぼうという方向性が存在している。また当時の教科書には、鉄筋コンクリート造のビルの平面図や柱の詳細図、戦後復興の都市計画など、都市や建築に関する専門的な内容が挿絵を活用しながら展開され、これからの日本の戦後復興における重要な要素として都市や建築が扱われているものもあり、生活を取り巻く環境を構成要素として都市や建築が扱われていた。今後は、まちづくりなど一般市民による都市や建築に関する活動が盛んになり、都市や建築をテーマとした子ども教育も重要な視点となっている現在において、今回の研究の成果を還元し、学校教育を中心とした子どもの都市建築教育のあり方を考えていきたい。

This study focuses on the study contents of urban architecture, food, clothing, housing, primary and secondary schools, the study guidelines, textbooks, and the actual situation of school education. For example, we should pay attention to the systematic learning of "life unit learning", and we should pay attention to the basic learning of children. This study is based on the following new topics: social studies, family studies, textbook content, urban architecture, background of the times, school education, urban architecture, etc. In Japan, there are many natural and harmonious colonies before the development of high culture, and there are many social sciences and folklore viewpoints. The formation of colonies, topography, rivers, etc. The contents of the textbooks of the time, the detailed design of the plane and the column of the iron reinforcement, the urban planning of the post-revitalization, and the related doors of the urban architecture are expanded, and the important elements of the urban architecture of the post-revitalization of Japan are expanded, and the elements of the living environment are selected. In the future, the activities related to urban architecture for the general public will be prosperous, urban architecture will be important for education, and the achievements of current research will be returned to the original, school education will be the center, and urban architecture education will be examined.
