项目摘要

本年度は宮城県M町において、60歳以上の人口の3%にあたる200人(random sampling)に対し、自記式の質問紙にて保健福祉サービス利用に対する態度を評価した。また、対象者の一部に対するin depth interviewおよびFGD (Focus Group Disscussion)を行った。自記式の質問紙には、各種保健福祉サービス利用に対する抵抗感がどの位あるのかを5段階方式で尋ねた。利用にかなり抵抗があると答えた者の割合が最も多かったのは、ホームヘルパー利用であった。また、女性より男性、さらに年齢が高いほどサービス利用に対する抵抗感は有意に高かった。in depth interviewおよびFGD (Focus Group Disscussion)に対し、content analysisを行ったところ、以下の知見が得られた。1)サービス利用を妨げているのは、介護者自身のサービス利用に対する偏見よりもむしろ、親戚などの偏見によるものと考えられた。2)介護者自身はサービス利用に対する偏見よりも、むしろ義務感や罪悪感がサービス利用を妨げていると考えられた。以上の知見をもとに、一般住民に対するサービス利用の意義についての講習会を順次開催し、次年度に同じ対象者対し、サービス利用に対する抵抗感について検討する予定である。
