本研究の目的は,(1)日常文脈を用いた文章題の解決訓練が,文章題の解決能力を促進するのかどうかを明らかにする,(2)日常文脈を用いた文章題の解決訓練が,日常的な問題における解決にも転移するのかどうかについて検討することであった。特に,本年度は後者について検討するために,以下のような研究を実施した。まず最初に,熟達化と転移についての文献的研究を行った。波多野と稲垣(1983)によれば,熟達化には,適応的熟達化と固定的熟達化という2つの異なった熟達化があることが示されており,適応的熟達化を示す者は,自分の獲得した領域固有技能を,他の課題の解決においても適応的に利用できるとされる。このことを本研究にあてはめてみると,文章題の解決能力を日常的な問題解決にも転移するためには,子ども達が文章題の解決においても適応的熟達化を引き起こすような訓練が求められているといえる。このような知見に基づいて,訓練効果についての実験的な研究を行ったが,十分な成果は得られなかった。これは,本研究での訓練方法が,子ども達に適応的熟達化を引き越すようなものでなかったことに原因があると考えられた。加えて,文献的研究を進める中で,本研究を実施する以前に考えていた転移のモデルに対する問題点が指摘されるようになってきていることが明らかになった。そこでは,従来我々が考えてきたような転移の静的アプローチではなく,転移をプロセスとして捉える動的アプローチへの変容を求めている。今後は,新しい観点から,文章題の訓練と転移のあり方についての検討が求められる。
