標記の研究課題にしたがって今年度は、これまでに行った先行研究および基礎資料の収集・分析に基づいて、2つのアンケート調査を実施した。京都市児童館学童連盟など関係各機関の協力を得て、第1に学童クラブ利用者の保護者を対象とした生活実態調査、第2に児童館・学童クラブの館長を対象とした地域展開事業に関する調査を実施した。京都市では、地域社会における子育て支援の一環として、地域子育て支援ステーション事業をはじめ、京都市児童育成計画、京都市児童館活動指針などに基づく先駆的な諸事業を取り組んできている。今回の2つの調査は、そのような地域社会の子育て支援事業の具体的把握とともに、保護者の学童クラブ活動への期待や評価、地域との関わり、子どもたちの放課後の生活実態を分析考察することを目的とした。保護者対象の調査からは、学童クラブ活動の積極的・肯定的な期待や評価が読みとれ、学童クラブ活動が子育ての社会化を促進していることが確認できた。また学童クラブの地域展開事業への積極的な評価も見られた。子どもたちの生活については、お稽古ごとに通う子どもが半数であること、何らかの子ども部屋を持つ子どもが6割を占めていることなど特徴的な結果が得られた。児童館・学童クラブの館長対象調査からは、児童館まつりや母親クラブの活動、地域老人会との共同事業など、大半の館が地域コミュニティとの関わりを持った事業を積極的に取り組んでいることが明らかになった。館が中心となって取り組まれている様々な機関や団体との協議や事業、活動は、地域社会全体で子育てに取り組むことの意義を共有するなど子育てに対する積極的な影響を与えている。
