项目摘要

昨年度は通産省の地域間産業連関表を用いて国内を9つの経済ブロックに分割した情報産業連関表を作成した。ところが、こうした経済ブロックを単位とした情報産業連関表では、情報化の進展が地域経済に与える影響を詳細に分析することができないため、今年度は都道府県を単位とした情報産業連関表の作成を試みた。具体的には、1)各都道府県の推計した地域産業連関表を用いて47都道府県の地域間産業連関表を作成し、2)この地域間産業連関表から47都道府県の情報産業連関表を推計するという手順で推計を行った。また、昨年度は情報化の進展が地域経済に与える影響を分析する応用一般均衡モデルを提案した。今年度は上述した情報産業連関表を用いてモデル・キャリブレーションを行い、このモデルを用いて交通・情報通信インフラの整備が地域経済に与える影響を定量的に分析することを試みた。分析の結果、交通・情報インフラの整備は、情報部門の生産効率を上昇させ、これによって生産部門の生産効率が上昇すること、また、これによってわが国の産業競争力が変化し、国際的な産業競争を通してわが国の産業構造及び地域構造は大きく変化して行くこと等を明らかにした。2年間の研究を通して、情報化の進展が地域経済に与える影響を定量的に分析するための手法を開発することができたが、今後は、分析結果の検証方法について検討し、具体的な検証を行っていく必要があること、さらに、交通と通信の代替性についてさらに精緻な分析ができるようにモデルを改良すること等に取り組んでいく予定である。
