项目摘要

本年度は、サンビア派遣学生のためのバックアップシステムを構築・整備するために現地調査を実施した。理科のシラバス・教科書分析を行うとともに、国内で唯一の理科中等教員養成機関であるザンビア大学における化学教員養成カリキュラムの内容調査、および公立高等学校(標準的な男子校と女子校)2校における化学授業をビデオ記録して授業分析を行い、TIMMS国際比較調査の他の国の調査と比較した。その結果、生徒実験はほとんど実施されず、教師中心の授業実態が明らかとなった。その中で1名のベテラン教師の指導は、実験観察が導入されており、その教師はJICAのケニアSMASSEプロジェクトにおいて研修を受け、現場に対するインパクトがあったものと判断される。現在派遣学生によって教員研修センターにおけるインターンシップを行っているが、研修内容や方法を含めた改善が必要である。また、域内研修として上記のケニアSMASSEプロジェクトへの積極的参加と連携が有効である。派遣学生のための現地指導を馬場が実施し、数学授業についてアドバイスを行うとともに、研究を指導した。また、ザンビア大学教育学部との連携を深め、現地スタッフからのバックアップが可能なように組織構築を行った。さらに、現地JICA事務所、広島大学、東京JICA本部間で、J-Netによる衛星同時会議システムを利用したバックアップを試行した。本年度が最終年度にあたり、いままで蓄積してきた情報をまとめて「ザンビアの教育」という冊子を編集し、研究の総括とした。
